If you haven’t heard this about me yet, I will share it again. I am a total child at heart. Kids of all ages tend to get bored quickly and need to move around. I am exactly the same which is often a beautiful match. Working with children has made me grow as a person and a photographer in so many ways. Some kids are shy, quiet, scared at first, possibly special needs or Autistic. Others are excited, embracing, totally wild, and ready to show me the world. No matter what the beautiful characteristics may be of your child, I will feel my way through it and find my footing in step with them.

The “Let’s get down to business” Part…

This is the time to take a look back at your years of secondary school and tell your story. I am here to help you tell it the best way possible. I will spend time talking to and getting to know you well ahead of time to understand your vision of this session. It could be as big as shooting in 2 different seasons, on location out of state, or in the middle of a Varsity game. Or it could be as simple as one hour, one spot, and all for your mother. No matter the vision, I can ensure we will do our best to get it and have fun the whole way through.

The “Lets get down to business” Part… As with all my sessions it is about simplicity. You will receive a proofing gallery with 30-60 images to choose from. Your session includes 15 digital images with personal printing rights so that you may share or print as you wish. I do not require you print through me but the quality of the prints I can provide is often significantly better than you can purchase as a consumer. I also offer custom announcements, or personalized wallets. Often clients wish to retain more of the images from the session in the form of a personalized album. It is a beautiful and timeless way to tell your story.

*Additional individual images can be purchased for $20 each.
*Acne or anything requiring additional editing will be at an add on cost.
*If you have glasses have the lenses removed
*Makeup and hair recommendations and referrals provided upon request.

Settle in and get cozy in your own home. These sessions are designed to capture your sweet newborn in their element, at home with mom, dad, siblings, and/or pets. My style is journalistic in that I will capture more of the moments and less of the posed/propped style sessions. I will always do a couple cuddly poses just for your little one, but ultimately I intend to capture all the love, emotion, and beauty that comes along with bringing a newborn home.

In general I recommend booking the session within the first 2 weeks of birth. That said, I have worked with babies only days old, and many 3-4 weeks old. No matter the age..that sweet baby rules the show and we will absolutely capture many beautiful moments. My intention is a no stress, go with the flow session. I will come to you with necessary props and accessories and loads of patience and guidance.
